Sun and Sand

The Beach on Base - The only WHITE Sand Beaches in of Tampa. The Bayshore Blvd. is a road by the bay that has a concrete wall around it to keep the sea from eroding away the land. It is beautiful and there is a sidewalk that lots of people run, walk, and bike on that it is approx. 4 miles long. The beach on base is seldom used and is at the end of the peninsula so you look out on to the water.

The cruise ships pass by the beach all the time. We can hear the ships boarding horns when they are in town.
